I've always felt every NFL player should be able to lift 10 or more
Anything less and that player is just not dedicated in the weight room and rightfully leads to a lot of concerns and questions.
I'm nothing close to a gym rat and confidently sport the "dad bod". However, I may be able to push 225 lbs maybe twice. Let me prep a week or two, and I know I can do 4-5 reps. So, if you're an NFL player pushing only 4, 5, 6 reps. I just can't take them seriously as an elite athlete.
Just IMO, of course :)
