I think that is the plan

Having young depth across the board makes it possible to grab the best available recruit at any weight class (rather than recruiting based on need). And honestly, I think that's what the team is doing now. But getting top 5 guys per weight class is tough: they are all hearing from every top 10 program, plus other schools that are attractive because of the educational pedigree - like Cornell, Princeton and Harvard. Tech is at the point now where it will be considered by top wrestlers, but realistically, Penn State and Ohio State will continue to get more of those guys. Faith in Tony and staff to continue hitting the occasional home run like McFadden and Lewis.
