All 3... All different...

First one snapped the umbilical cord when she popped out. Midwife stared and said "Well THAT has never happened before!" Not exactly what you want to hear during a delivery.

Second one was the most "normal", although God proved he has a sense of humor. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day and we were joking about him popping out with red hair. Neither of us has any red hair in the family. Guess what, a little leprechaun popped out. Still laugh about that.

While I was there for the third, I didn't actually "see" the birth as I was holding my wife up. She had been hitting contractions every 2 minutes for the last 30 minutes, we had just left the house to go to the hospital and they came on like gangbusters, she had had 3 mild contractions over the last hour. She couldn't sit in the chair, lay down in the bed, get on the ball or in the tub, the only thing that was comforting her was walking back and forth. Midwife told me to hold her like I was hugging her under the arms and for her to do the same around my neck. Next contraction, midwife caught my son and pinned him to her thigh, cut the cord and off to the evaluation. It was over before I knew it. That one was a little scary as he had gotten the cord wrapped around his neck and was in distress, which was why my wife couldn't settle down.
