New Orleans. Let them see what the world's really like and to avoid


Story. My Hokie son applied to Tulane as well as VT, ND, and Colorado 23 years ago.I had a good buddy who lived in New Orleans and asked him for hotel recommendations. He said "no hotel, he can stay at my house."

My son flies in and plans to go to the school the next morning. Unknown to me my friend's daughter takes my son down to Bourbon Street to show him the town!

Without a doubt my son liked the trip. He started drinking soon after.
