I'd look at the ones who have been there from the start...


Iron Man and Cap just because I think RDJ and Chris Evans might be tired of roles. Same for Thor. All of those have died or been replaced in the comics (although you can say that for most characters). If they wanted to they could take a break from Avengers all together and start spinning up a whole new X-Men cast/storyline now that they have the rights again. They could easily make as many X-Men movies as they have Avengers ones (if not more)... and then when X-Men gets stale you just pop back over to Avengers again and reboot it. Regardless it will be interesting to see how they proceed with the X-Men universe/characters.
