UVA went 17-1 in the ACC and won the ACCMBBT. They beat every team in the ACC. They choked big time vs. U Made a Bad Choice. Google "UVA men's basketball" and that historic and embarrassing loss will fill the pages. As for their fans, yes many are arrogant. Hopefully this loss will humble those fans. I'm not going to rub it in their faces. When Tech had the massacre on April 16, 2007, many of those UVA fans comforted us. It bothered me that whenever I Googled "Virginia Tech" that that horrible massacre showed up on the first pages. I bothered me at first but I knew that that massacre didn't define Virginia Tech. That UVA loss to #16 seed UMBC doesn't define UVA men's basketball. Until that loss, they had a great season. Many people like to see successful people fall from the top and hit rock bottom. I don't mind seeing evil people fall from the top and hit rock bottom, but I don't think UVA fans, as a whole, are as bad as some here say they are. They have their obnoxious fan base like any other school. IMHO, I think Tony Bennett and his basketball team do things the right way. UVA learned a life lesson on Friday night. It's difficult to reach the top but easy to fall down to the bottom.
