A moneyline is simply a bet one team wins, with no point spread.

This one was +1600 on UMBC which means if you bet $100 on them to win, and they win you collect $1600. I am not sure if you get $1600 + your original $100 or just $1600. Anyway, he got 3x that cause he bet $300. Betting on the Hoos would have displayed as something like -2000 or some other large number(don’t know what it was), which means in this example, betting $2000 would win you $100.

That’s a moneyline bet basically...no point spread but wildly different odds.
