If you're truly in a crowded WiFi area, won't make much of a difference.


The "empty" channel @ 5pm isn't always the empty channel @ 9pm.

Many people set their routers to Auto Channel -- so they're jumping from channel to channel.

I live in a condo/apartment neighborhood, and I can typically see 25-30 networks. Every channel is gonna be crowded.

Basically, you've got two choices:

1) Accept the WiFi congestion & interference, welcome to 2018
2) Buy a farm, and move to the country
