Figured out how to stop at least some types of solicitation phone spam.

I just kept getting calls about winning fabulous vacations, at a deep discount, of course, on an exhorbitant retail value. I am so lucky.

You all know the drill. Wouldn't answer, that didn't help, blocked the number, so it just rolled up to the next number in their bank of spoofed numbers, so that didn't work. Hung up, doesn't work.

So, I finally listened to their recorded crap, and said I was interested. Then, to determine my "eligibility" I was asked if my household income was above a certain amount. So I just said "no" to see what would happen. The call ended. I was ineligible.

And, the calls have all but stopped. I was getting a half dozen or more a day, for a variety of things. Haven't gotten any in a week.

Be poor, and be not bothered.
