Looking big picture here - Star Wars universe or MCU?

Which do you like better and why?

If I had to choose only one, I'd go with MCU, and if I had to give one reason (OK, two), I'd say better overall characters and writing. Each suffers a bit from telling the same story over and over, but I think MCU doesn't do it quite as much (and does it better).
