There is enough talent here now to win more games than we lose and to be middle or upper part of the Coastal. While talent is missing in some areas, the reality is that this team, and similar to past few years, not only hasn’t improved as the year has gone on, but in fact is worse. There is no excuse for that other than coaching and leadership. No major injuries to blame this year. Youth is an asset at this point in the season not an excuse. The little things make a huge difference in softball. Other teams with comparable or weaker talent are executing and doing the little things and hence beat us consistently usually by a run or two. A change is needed to create a fresh start. Much like lacrosse, volleyball, baseball, etc
