How many of you have made the jump to a mechanical keyboard?

After killing my second "regular" keyboard by spilling a drink on it, decided to make the jump to something better. I also wasn't thrilled with the key tactile & audible feedback on the "regular" boards.

I made the leap to a mechanical board with Cherry MX Brown switches, and I couldn't be happier. It isn't as loud as the old IBM keyboards, but you can buy a board with similar switches. I'll never go back to a non-mechanical keyboard.

They (Cherry) make several different switches that should satisfy everyone from gamers to typists.
