Most non-revenue tournaments try to minimize travel.


They also try to avoid playing teams within the same conference. With the ACC being very successful in most of these sports, this causes us to usually get sent to Ohio State, Penn State, Kentucky or Tennessee which are the only non-ACC teams nearby that get seeded. In the case of Lacrosse we will probably get sent to JMU, since most of the other seeds are in the ACC.
