Members of the foreign service have a mandatory at 65 but


are also up or out. 30 years to make Senior Foreign Service (similar to SES). If you make it in 30 years, you can stay something like 5 or 6 for each of the three levels but I have never seen too many over 65 or with more than 37 years of service.

For my skill code, SFS will be difficult and my 30 is at age 60.
