Computer gurus

Trying to zip some files, everything I search says windows 7 has it built in with a right click send/save to compressed file. I don't get that option. I had a free trial on Win Zip on computer that is now expired, but still on computer...does that interfere with what is supposed to be included with Win 7?

TIA
