Periods 1 and 2 were simply incredible...


After Ovie got the initial score, the Caps held on through surge after surge from the Lightning. The defense was truly spectacular! That's the big difference this time.

As period 3 slowly cranked down, you could almost see the Lightning's will break strand by strand. That third period was absolutely suffocating.
