As much as VT fans think of Bud, other schools obviously do not or he would have been gone long ago. Getting long in the tooth has the same impact on Bud as it did on Frank. He has a few more years in the tank, health allowing, and will finish his career at VT as DC. I'd sure as hell sign up for nearly $1 million a year for the rest of my career if I was his age. He does not have the working time-frame to establish a new defense elsewhere and make it what he already has. Rest assured that he will retire as a Hokie coach. What intelligent DC would not?
