i'm sure this has been debated before but looking for updated opinions. Wife and I are shopping our cell plan around to see if we can get a better deal and lower our monthly rate. Both of us have smart phones but don't really use a lot of their features. She's a stay at home mom and my job doesn't require me to have one or e-mail, etc.
We are both quite happy going back to flip phones but are worried about the service and happiness after the savings kicks in. If we switch from Verizon to Sprint, we'll save about $81 per month but most people I know around here have nothing nice to say about Sprint. For buying out of Verizon and buying our new Sprint phones, our payback is around 8 months.
