I enjoy watching the Europeans play. But the only reason this is tolerable is because nothing else is on TV.

And don't even try to compare NBA and football flops to soccer. The flops per minute in the soccer world are astounding. At least the NHL will penalize it. Nearly every contested ball here results in some contact, an expression of unbearable pain, and a player staying on the ground a bit too long just to try and get a call.

There's a reason MLS isn't on the major networks. And it's not just because we "suck" at it. It's because so few people GAF.
