It's fading away...


...Limited time. Not on "The Tests". Society is moving toward audio/digital communication and away from manual communication.

That being said, I love cursive and I loved teaching it. I found that it taught me a certain amount of patience and fine motor dexterity.

But times change. We don't use fountain pens much anymore nor do we teach calligraphy. Teachers don't use chalk or chalkboard nor do kids use slates. Slide Rules?...gone. Abacus?...nicht.
