Studio 54

For some of the more seasoned posters here, did anyone ever visit Studio 54? Went to a party over the weekend, and there were some late 50ish-early 60ish guests there who were talking about how crazy it was at the time, what they supposedly witnessed there etc, and that the subsequent generations have not seen anything like it... They got into the discussion while discussing celebs that supposedly frequented 54. And one guest said he saw a young Jamie Lee Curtis there, and that she was the most natural beauty he'd ever seen . And he was still in love with her today. lol

All I really knew about the place was from that disturbing movie starring Ryan Phillippe back in the 90s.
