My "Foreigner" connection. Lou Graham is from Rochester, NY. When my


parents first got married, they rented a 1/2 house from Lou Graham's cousins. Of course, then he was Louis Grahamatico. That 1/2 house is where I spent the first 6 months or so of my life.

It's funny that I was never a fan of them that much, but there's 2 songs that tie right back to Graham's younger days. In "Juke Box Hero", he actually was standing outside the Rochester War Memorial, hearing the band that he wanted to see start playing. He couldn't get a ticket....it was a sold out show.

In another song he talks about "Drivin all night on Lake Avenue", which is the main road that leads to a beach on Lake Ontario. Kids used to drag race on it all the time.
