When i had my pacemaker implanted


I had a trip 2 weeks later and i asked the Dr if i would be able to get in the water....
He went off on me and said "dont you dare get anywhere near a pool. Those things are an infection waiting to happen."
He proceeded to explain that my incesion went straight into my heart and with all the germs floating around in there that any infection would go straight to my heart.

Ive never thought of a pool or public swimming area the same.
