Yep, the former editor of Spokes had an editorial on golf and cycling


So I'm thinking: "Here it comes, golfers are fat drunken slobs and we cyclists are wonderfully fit athletes yada, yada yada"

But turned out he did both and liked the contrast, golf you never get there, always leave a little game on the course no matter how well you play, cycling, 20 miles is 20 miles no matter how rough a day it is, when you finish you met your goal.

I was always kinda amused by that comparison.
