Well of course...no particular bands it happens...


Loved Springsteen's Wild, innocent and E street shuffle and had a ritual of playing it on the 4th of July after the fire works (Sandy, the fireworks are hailin' over little Eden tonight...) Absolutely love New York Serenade...but this just past July 4th I've finally just kinda lost the magic. It's still probably one of my favorite CD's of all time but sometimes you have to move on, move on.

That's a bad/good thing about your 60s though, get into other stuff that doesn't have to be as apocalyptic as when you were growing up eg Big Band sounds while really swing dancing type stuff.

There have been a few go the other way though, never really into the hair bands, but like some of those tunes now. But you always need to be looking for new stuff, even old school jazz.
