I say I'm not claustrophobic but I have a strong reaction to the graphics

Caving and tunneling are two things I will not do in tight spaces. I work under cars, crawlspaces, and even enjoy cave tours and steam tunnels in places where I can survey a long distance. In a tunnel that's anything less than hands and knees I am no good.

Seeing these guys go in a cave where you have to army crawl is unbelievable to me. The underwater part makes it technically more difficult but no difference in terror in my book. Glad they are able to do it.

There was another story a few years back about a caver who got stuck and died in some tunnel in Utah, which is known for people getting stuck and dying. To read about how he got stuck and what he must have felt, because he was certainly awake the whole time, keeps me up at night. He had a young family too. Horrifying.
