and acknowledged Mueller properly handled the situation. The issue for discussion was the nature of private discussions and following on that how those discussions take place. Private discussions are not prohibited, however, depending upon a person's position it is still a qualitative judgement as to what material is disclosed and how that discussion takes place. A text exchange that COULD become public is a different matter than an oral discussion. Classified information versus a discussion of like/dislike of one's superior are different matters as well. To move away from the political arena look at the recent dismissal of Colangelo from the Sixers. No one would dispute his right to have private conversations with his wife about his job but, the advisability of what they discussed and the impact of those discussions becoming public certainly calls in to question his fitness for the job and whether he could be effective in the future. Again, it is not about preventing communication but, what is specifically communicated and how(written vs oral) it is communicated.
