I was having dinner before the gig and a young lady sat beside me and asked me if I was in the band.

She then told me she was a massage therapist. Making conversation in my expert way, I asked her if being a massage therapist made it easier to find dates, given the intimate nature of her service.

She said sort of, but she felt it was unethical to date her clients. If she was interested in a client she would ask a colleague to take over his therapy. OK, that sounds like a good policy.

She apparently saw my question as a signal to open up her personal life. In the next five minutes she went into lurid detail on:

- the fact that dating clients wasn't a priority, because she'd much rather have friends with benefits than a boyfriend

- she has lots of friends with benefits and she loves the variety it provides

- she's also bisexual and prefers three-ways more than anything

- she apparently has developed a 'standard operating procedure' for the best things each participate should be doing in a three-way

- she especially enjoys giving orgasms to the woman, and she illustrated this visually

- she learned about three-ways when an older woman seduced her and brought her into a polyamorous marriage. The woman eventually 'kicked her to the curb' but she taught her everything she needed to know.

And then it was time for the set to begin. She stuck around for two sets until someone who was no doubt one of her benefit-friends came in and ferreted her away. I hope he had another friend waiting.
