Business model for Athens, GA craft brewer....


My son graduated from UGA 2 years ago with MicroBiology degree. On a whim he applied for a job with a local brewer who needed a new brewer, with a key requirement being a degree in MicroBio. He did not pursue the job very far but relayed to me a conversion he had with the head brewer. Their business model was cloned from the dot.com bubble. They wanted to create a name for themselves and then sell out to one of the big beer companies, take there profits and repeat the process in another college town with lots of thirsty students.
Sounds like a good plan for an MBA thesis.
