A very tough day today...my Mom had a heartattack this morning...


Luckily my niece knocked some sense in her and she was taken to the ER in Abingdon, VA and then taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN (her heart doctor is based out of Holston Valley and Bristol).

Her chance of survival w/o surgery was 0%, with surgery 50/50 (she's 80 yo). I opted for the surgery and she underwent triple bypass surgery and came thru it weak but successfully. Her chances now have increased greatly since this afternoon.
