Anyone in the Reston-ish area looking for a lunch or dinner spot for tmrw -


Allow me to suggest Not Your Average Joe's. Every Thursday in August, the Reston location of NYAJ will donate 15% of all proceeds to The ALS Association in the fight to defeat ALS -- specifically, to my family's team in the Walk to Defeat ALS coming up in October. This is the second straight year Joe's has supported us -- last year they ended up donating around $2500, and we're looking to top that this year.

Only catch -- you HAVE to tell your server that you want your bill to be counted in the fight against ALS. Otherwise, they don't hit that magical key on the cash register that says "Take 15% and donate it."

Any questions, please let me know. And heck, if there's enough interest in a future TSL Happy Hour one of the next few Thursdays at this location, let me know and I'll work on organizing that as well.
