Outside the lines for sure


One sportswriter on Twitter (can't remember who) likened it to a batter coming up on the mound while the pitcher isn't ready and hitting him with the bat. Wonder what MLB would do about that?

Small part of me wonders if this is what it'll take to FINALLY get MLB to do something about this. This wasn't any unwritten rule. He didn't show up the Marlins. He was just too good for their pitchers.

All that said ... as another guy said on Twitter, I care at least a TINY bit less because it happened to the Braves, who have tended to treat Bryce Harper like their own personal beanball target.
