A guy in the neighborhood can't seem to hold down a job. He's always trying something new and has now decided he wants to start a business sharpening things. He cuts back branches with a large machete and plays around with long knives so he calls himself a cook and martial artist. He sharpens anything, knives, throwing stars, etc. He spends a lot of time making a show of it in his yard and in the cul-de-sac. It's like watching a Ginsu knife infomerical starring fat Steven Steagall. His neighbor has an adult son who just moved back into the house. The son is the type that thinks he has to have a gun everywhere, even while he's mowing the lawn. He's apparently threatened by the sharpener. So we got Mr. Open Carry and Knife Guy right next to each other. July 4 was really interesting with them both trying to prove who had the biggest/smallest by one carrying a gun and the other acting like Bruce Lee's uncoordinated brother while trying to stick a knife into the pavement. The adult son put his gun away during the fireworks display, allegedly. My guess is he just put it under his shirt.

Of course, we know all of this from our neighborhood Mrs. Kravitz who is up in arms about them both. Our Mrs. Kravitz is whining to everyone in the neighborhood but he won't approach Crocodile Dundee (that's a knife) or the soldier of fortune. He expects someone else to do it. This is the same guy that repeatedly reports other neighbors to the HOA for trash can violations or if the grass gets a little too long during a rainy period instead of saying something face-to-face. So, what's the best way to deal with all three of these losers?
