I got 2 summers out of my Kobalt 40V battery for my hedge trimmer.

I went to use it for the first time earlier this summer and it was totally dead and would not charge. I checked the manual and saw that the battery had a 3 year warranty - which I thought was great news, until I realized the warranty expired 2 weeks before I found the battery dead. After reading online reviews, I found that this does not seem to be an isolated problem.
