I did that at VT, stumbling back to Fox Ridge in the middle of the night


(quite the hike). I was all city/suburban boy, and somehow I thought it would be nice to say hello to the horses, when is I saw them so close to the bike trail. I'm an animal lover, it was a beautiful moonlit sky... I put my hands on the fence and...BAM. Dropped me like a big right hand. Horses ran off - laughing, I always imagined...
