Wife and I went to a Mexican joint near Bailey's Crossroads this weekend

Palenque on Columbia Pike. It's a little run down looking place on the side of the road, all alone. They definitely do not get many crackas going in there, as evident by the perplexed look at the server's face when we walked in. She did not speak a word of English but fear not; I managed to dig deep enough into the memory bank to understand most of what she was saying and be able to respond.

I ordered a plate of steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. They brought this plate out with a mountain of meat on it. It was delicious. I was both surprised at how good it was and how much food it was for not a lot of money. I think we got out of there, two meals and a beer for $30.

My wife did not like her meal, and the reviews online are pretty terrible but hot damn did they make a mean plate of fajita meat for me.
