I spent a lot of time alone growing up b/c of a single working mother

So it was movie and tv and book characters for me. It may not be a great basis for reality, but it sure helped me be creative over the years (and probably accounts for some of my head in the clouds traits). Probably also accounts for some of my lone wolf tendencies.

and many others.

Sure it's a bit weird, but I'm a sucker for stories and never really associated athletes for anything beyond sports.
