The advent of the internet killed marriages


The internet really exploded in late 90s - the sweet spot of GenX marriages. With that cam a lot more opportunity that had never been part of society. It create a cataclysmic shift in information available along with porn and other side effects. That put a lot of stress on marriages. I think that phenomena has largely leveled out. Mills are better equipped to handle the internet and all of its inherent opportunities and risks.
