So you're saying that if I took the $10 a year that I spent on lottery


tickets over the last 25 year or so, I'd be a millionaire now? That's one hell of an ROI.

For any casual player who can easily afford the $2 ticket, it's a fun little distraction / allows you to dream a bit. If lightning strikes and you win, well then you didn't have to invest wisely for 30 years. to get rich.
