In the regular season they rotate clockwise


So the 1B ump tonight is the HP ump tomorrow. I don't know if the introduction of RF & LF umps in the post-season changes that. But I hate the thought of a pennant clinching game tomorrow night hinging Angel Hernandez's ball & strike calls.
