My drain runs outside, then drips down to the ground.


The marks may not be where the drip is. The water marks are where the ceiling is lower by a fraction of an inch. Location of actual drip could be anywhere. (Trust me on this one).

I've never heard of a condensate line sweating. I'd guess it's an actual leak. Make sure it isn't the unit.
