In the old days, I sometimes brought a newspaper with me to go car shopping. Whenever they left me alone in the office while the salesman played the "check with the sales manager" game, I'd open the newspaper and start circling other car ads just to remind them I had other options.
"Accidentally" sending them an email meant for another dealer is sort of the modern equivalent.
