Bag Sedona and head to Jerome


Sedona is beautiful, but nothing more than a tourist trap anymore. Full of bluehairs and tourist this time of year.

I personally enjoyed Jerome, little mining town an hour SW of Sedona. Nice town to walk around, several nice local restaurants and bars. Get's a lot of weekend biker traffic (mostly bike club type, not gangs) but just adds to the flavor of the town.

Also, just head to Oak Creek Canyon as well. Great drive to the top of the canyon, lots of little spots to just pull off and hike down to the creek.

Just not a real fan of Sedona.
