Question: how old is the Mustang?

If it's 5 or more year old, and you're still running the original antifreeze, it may be time to drain and refill.

Make sure you buy antifreeze that's made for your Mustang. There are several different types on the market, and you should find the manufacturer's recommendation on the label.

I like buying the 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze, that way I know it has the right concentration. Just one less thing to worry about...
