I think the ATX form factor really jumpstarted computer builds

Really nice that MOBO screw holes line up with the cases.

I've also found that good MOBO handbooks take a lot of the difficulty out of (computer) builds. That's why I've stuck with a couple manufacturers. I started with ABIT MOBOs, then switched to ASUS when it was reported that ABITs had a few faulty pieces (capacitors?). Guess most manufacturers have good manuals, but I'll stick with what I know...in this case ASUS.
