All of our buildings appear to be named for former school presidents,


former employees, alumni war heroes and philanthropists. Lane Hall was named for a fellow that was a CSA officer but then the Commandant of Cadets in the corps beginning. Lee Hall was not named for a certain General of Northern Virginia.

I was at VT in 1964 and I have returned most every year since then including at least the last 35 years consecutively numerous times per year. I was amazed at the number of buildings added since I graduated in 1964. Check out the link.
