Put a credit freeze on your social with the three credit agencies

experian, transunion and equifax. Those are free and it blocks any new accounts from being opened. If you need to get a loan or open an account you just take it off, open the account and put it back on.

Then you don't have to pay someone a fee for something you can do yourself easily
