as reported here on the lounge and just in a real serious way after the guy fixed it I'm thinking: You've got eight lives left bikebut also I was kinda looking at myself too. Hard to explain, a sense of attachment and not getting any younger either.

I did get really sick in Berlin back in my 30s, I was bed-ridden, getting to the bathroom was an epic effort. Later my gf at the time (the good ole days travelling and Europe and getting it on) asked me if I thought I could die. I said yeah, but I was halucinating so much that it was kinda fun.

It made me kinda impervious, dying wasn't so bad that I lost any weird notions of it, just drift away. I don't know how close I came, or even what I had, I was jaundicing and all I'm kinda irritated at my boss - probably the worst one I've ever had - didn't like, you know, take me to the hospital, my natural constitution handled it all. :^\

Had a few close calls on the highway but kinda laughed those off because they never really happened. Yeah, doing OK I guess, got eight left.
