First one saw an older middle age couple hugging so guessing they were all right, few minutes later one of those club cab truck was jackknifed with his long work trailer, So he's like triply screwed, repairs, can't work for a while, current customers pissed.

But yeah, I-81. Saw two cars that were pretty much pancaked, didn't recognize the make, one was the one at the James River. a mile later some idiot in a tiny car decided to squirt ahead of a tractor-trailer not a huge amount of damage, but several mile backup. Another tractor-trailer before that was in the ditch but not looking too damaged, drifted off the road? couple other fender benders. I left at 11 so it wasn't - I don't think - any Ice or snow on the road.


I don't remember seeing so much carnage on a trip, this was easily the worst trip I've had down to the 'burg ever? I'll think about it. At least 6 accidents and a few people never making it home again.
