He also blocks off rooms based on how many they feel like cleaning. If a regular calls about a room and he is "full" he will open another one up whereas he might turn away someone he didn't know. He always asks us about certain dates if we haven't reached out first. I think he likes to know so that he can "save" our usual room for us. We know when the back side is open that it's a true full house. Just thinking about those people makes me smile. I should buy them something.
